Terry Lee Neymeiyer, Sr.

Terry Lee Neymeiyer, Sr., aged 64, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born on October 18, 1960, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Edward and Esther (Westbrook) Neymeiyer.

Terry was a graduate of Hudsonville High School. After completing his education, he embarked on a fulfilling career as a Trailer Mechanic, a role he held for over 40 years until his retirement in 2020. On July 21, 2001, Terry married Denise McCole, and they enjoyed 23 years together.

Terry found joy in the simple things, especially the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, and bowling. Every spring, he eagerly searched for morels in the woods and enjoyed gardening. Terry's generosity knew no bounds, especially when it came to helping others with their houses, and he was always there to lend a hand.

Preceding Terry in death were his parents, Edward and Esther (Westbrook) Neymeiyer, his brothers Ed, Rick, and Tim Neymeiyer, his niece Della, his father-in-law Gerald McCole, and his nephew Jonathan McCole.

He is survived by his wife, Denise; children, Aspen Neymeiyer of Hastings, Terry Neymeiyer, Jr. of Moline, and Bambi (Robinson) Hollingsworth of Byron Center; granddaughters Adriana and Lillian Gould, Brooklynn and Jaelynn Neymeiyer; grandson Brayden Neymeiyer; sisters Tammy Dull and Judy Richardson; mother-in-law Betty McCole; sisters-in-law Sally Neymeiyer, Jill Neymeiyer; brothers-in-law Dave (Roxanne) McCole, Don (Deb) McCole, and Dean McCole; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Girrbach Funeral Home, 328 S Broadway, Hastings, MI 49058. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with visitation starting one hour prior at Girrbach Funeral Home. Arrangements by Girrbach Funeral Home.
