Terry Lynn Weiler, 69, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on July 3, 2025. Terry was born and raised in Hastings, Michigan on October 13, 1955, by his parents, Ward and Mary (Stutz) Weiler. He was a 1974 graduate of Hastings High School.
He retired from Flexfab after 42 years, but continued to remain active. Terry loved the outdoors and could usually be found riding his motorcycle, kayaking, heading up to the U.P., or deer hunting on the family farm. He will be fondly remembered for hosting 25 years of the legendary Coyote Saloon Hayrides, an event that brought together friends, laughter, and more than a few stories best left untold.
Terry had an easy smile, a big heart, and a soft spot for animals—especially his dogs Rocky and Molly. He was always up for a good conversation and had a way of making everyone feel like they mattered. He loved the ladies, and the ladies loved him right back. A proud Green Bay Packers fan (and not at all shy about it), Terry brought laughter and good times wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his daughter Shanell (Ronnie) Headworth, grandchildren Kendell and Cameron, step-son William (Christine) Andrus, his siblings, and many friends who became like family—especially Mark and Tami Dickinson, Steve and Cheryl Cooper, and Jim and Lou Ann Apsey.
A memorial visitation will take place Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 3–6 PM at Girrbach Funeral Home, 328 S. Broadway, Hastings, MI 49058. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, July 13 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Full Moon Saloon, 114 S Jefferson St, Hastings, MI 49058.
