Timothy Lee Trowbridge

September 9, 1970 — July 8, 2017

On July 8, 2017 Timothy Lee Trowbridge passed away of complications due to end-stage renal failure. Timothy was born in Niles Michigan on September 9, 1970 to Glenna Fay Wolkins and John Ira Trowbridge both from Niles. David Bell Daughdrill, his stepfather of 25 years; legally adopted Tim two years ago.

Tim attended North Side High School and wrestled for the freshman team. He later attended Wayne Highs School and Decatur. He finished his GED in Fort Wayne. He attended IPFW in Fort Wayne for a year.
It was his love for guns that spurred him on to take his Gunsmith Education from Penn-Foster Career School, which he finished in March of 2016. He immediately began his quest to build a business when he moved to Utah in 2015. He began Dark Saga Hydrographic. He became interested in hydro graphics as well as Cerakote. Later he added Laser engraving. He hoped to be able to eventually add milling. He did quite a number of custom upgrading's and loved to build AR 15 and AR47s. Prior to becoming a gunsmith Tim worked in security in both Fort Wayne Indiana and Corpus Christi Texas. He attended special security training in Texas as a personal bodyguard. Tim worked security for the Fort Wayne Roller Derby girls for four years and made a great many friends including Ricke Gibeau who was the paramedic for the Derby.

He married Tammy Renee Cameron of Miami, Arizona in August 15, 1991 and had son Kahler Lee on 14 June 1992. Later he married Laurie Kathleen Busk of Mesa, Colorado on September 2, 1994 and had daughter Megan Rose Busk born May 24, 1995.

Tim loved guns from a early age. He also loved guitars. He had about as many guns as he did guitars and customized them equally. His greatest desire was to own a gun shop where he could build and customize guns as well as design them. He enjoyed working at the range teaching gun safety. He was very serious about that.
Computers were something he learned early in life and began building them. He has designed gaming systems for years now and many of his friends still have his systems. It was on the computer he first met Christopher R Miller while living in Corpus Christi. Chris is from Michigan. These two boys became close friends through the 16+ years they have known one another along with Justin Yaklin from Corpus. The group F.A.T.E. was established and grew over the years. There was a bond between all of the group but Justin & Christopher remained very close friends. Today Christopher "Topher" was known as the brother Tim always hoped for.
Tim loved "deer camp" in the winter. Freezing and all, Tim and Topher would head out to Christopher's land in Weidman whether they got a deer or not.
Tim was an excellent cook. He has cooked for many of the exclusive restaurants in Corpus Christi. His favorite though was grilling. He was a master griller.
He lived an adventurous life. He has been in nearly every State in the US. He has never backed down from new things other than jumping out of a airplane which you would never get him to do, at least the last time I knew. He is a free spirit, gentle and kind soul with a huge heart. His last few weeks he said "mom, if I live through this I want to help others; help them to know to take care of themselves, live good lives, and find the positive in things." I believe he would have found a way.

Tim is survived by his mother Glenna Fay Hepworth (Wolkins) of Middleville, MI, David Bell Daughdrill of Fort Wayne, IN, sisters; Kimberly Elaine Weaver (Chris) from Radcliff, KY, Jacqueline Marie Pearcy-Nunez (Morgan) from Madison, WI, brother Christopher R Miller (Kathie Barr-Miller), daughter Megan Rose Busk from Rifle, CO, son Kahler Lee Kozakiewicz from AZ, six nieces and his Jack Russell; "boy" Buddy Lee AKA. Bug Guts.

The family wants to thank both Parkview Hospital (Ft. Wayne, IN) Metro Hospital fifth floor and Thornapple Manor for the extensive care they shown during Tim's time there. Much gratitude goes out to both DaVita and Fresenius dialysis centers in Grand Rapids and Hastings. Their lifesaving skills are key in saving renal patients To all the medical teams that pulled together their skills and care his family extends a huge heart of gratitude. It was an uphill battle, but he fought a great fight to live with both dignity and courage. He and his keen sense of humor will be greatly missed not only by his family but the hundreds of friends he as made in his lifetime.
Tim was preceded in death by his biological father; John Ira Trowbridge, his Grandfather Ira Trowbridge Jr. his maternal grandparents; Stanley Earl Wolkins and Almeada Wolkins (Misner) all from Niles Michigan.

There will be no showing or services but any Memorials can be directed to the Diabetes Foundation, Kidney Foundation or Divine Canine Rescue, PO Box 73, Davison, Michigan 48423.
