Vivian Elaine Shepard

Vivian Elaine Shepard, age 90 of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on October 18, 2017 at the Stone Ridge Adult Foster Care in Bellevue.
Vivian was born in Lake Odessa, Michigan, the daughter of William C. and Myrtle M. (Carr) Reed. She graduated from Lake Odessa High School and attended Lansing Business School.
Vivian married Lloyd Shepard on November 9, 1946. They enjoyed 64 years of marriage, until his passing in May of 2011. Vivian and Lloyd were very involved in the Gas and Steam Clubs.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrtle Reed, husband, Lloyd Shepard and brother, Gary Reed.
She is survived by her son, Larry Shepard, daughter, Jody Shepard, 2 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, several great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, sister, Shirley (Don) Mast, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Barry County Sheriff Posse.
A private burial will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
